Saudi-led coalition vows response, calls Riyadh strike a war crime

Saudi-led coalition spokesman Maj Gen Turki al-Maliki said a Houthi attack hit a passenger terminal at King Khalid International Airport, killing and wounding civilian passengers and staff. He called the strike a "full-fledged war crime" and said the coalition would respond. The BBC said a projectile also fell near King Fahd International Airport in Dammam on Saturday.

Trump says U.S. may join Saudi response after Riyadh airport strike

UN chief Guterres condemns Riyadh airport attack as illegal

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said he was "deeply shocked" by attacks on Saudi airports and called them a "violation of international law" that "must cease immediately," the BBC reported. Kuwait, Egypt, Palestine and Qatar also condemned the Riyadh strike. Saudi authorities put the toll at 12 dead and 309 injured.
