Russian air defense forces shot down 186 Ukrainian UAVs over Russian regions overnight, according to Russias Ministry of Defense. An oil refinery in Tuapse is on fire for the second time this month following a separate UAV attack. No casualties reported.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has submitted to the Verkhovna Rada draft laws extending martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine for another 90 days starting May 4. The legislative move comes as the war with Russia enters its third year with no end in sight.
