Trump says the war on Iran will get wrapped up soon and that Washington needs a guarantee Iran will never have a nuclear weapon.

Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said progress depends on seven Iranian conditions, including lifting sanctions, ending the US naval blockade of Iranian ports, guarantees against further US-Israeli strikes, and unfreezing Iranian assets, according to Tasnim.

IRGC says four oil tankers were halted or caught fire in the Strait of Hormuz after using what it called unauthorized routes.

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said Friday that two tankers were stopped after incidents in the eastern and western parts of the strait, and that two more, each carrying more than two million barrels of oil, exploded and caught fire after hitting mines. Oman said it rescued 25 crew from the Panama-flagged crude tanker RITI, which was on fire. It is not clear whether that ship was one of the four named by the IRGC. US Central Command chief Brad Cooper said the strait's main transit routes had been cleared of Iranian sea mines. The US military denies the mine claims.
